K Ravi Shankar B Com (Hons) AIII & FCA, served in The New India Assurance Company Limited Mumbai (New India), spanning over 36 years in various cadres and gained rich experience in Management of General Insurance Operations both Indian and Overseas Operations in 20 countries. He was deputed to UK for assisting London Branch in filing Statutory Returns & complying with Solvency provisions. He was deputed to UAE, Bahrain for conducting performance Review of operations.

He was heading a Metro Chennai Region & two UTs Pondicherry, Andaman & Nicobar Islands,as CEO with a premium of Rs 7,240 Mn, operating through a network of 101 operating offices and leading a team of 873 employees in various cadres. He participated as speaker in various National & International Seminars on Insurance.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India awarded him, a Certificate of Excellence in recognition of his valued contribution at the highest Management level to the General Insurance Industry as CA enhancing the brand image of ICAI.

Considering his outstanding performance, in management of Overseas Operations over a decade, New India awarded him a Certificate of excellence in International Conference at Dubai.
